Do you health test your dogs?
Yes! Any dog that is bred undergoes complete health testing as recommended by our national breed club, the Lagotto Romagnolo Club of America (LRCA)
Our dogs undergo testing of hips, elbows, patellas, annual eye exam, genetic testing and basic cardiac exam.
All health testing of our dogs can be found on the public database, OFA.org
Do you use puppy culture?
Yes, our puppies are raised with puppy culture and start undergoing ENS (early neurological stimulation) at 3 days. We continue to follow puppy culture protocol until the puppies go home with their forever families.
What activities do you participate in with your dogs?
We participate in conformation which allows our dogs to be judged against the breed standard and ensures that we are breeding dogs that meet the standard in terms of structure, movement, type and temperament. We also participate in AKC events such as dock diving, fast CAT, obedience, trick dog and more!
Are you a member of the Lagotto Romagnolo Club of America?
Yes I am a member.
Do the puppies go home with a contract and AKC registration?
Yes, every puppy goes home with a contract with the breeder which stipulates that should the puppy ever need to find a new home, that puppy will return to the breeder and not end up in a shelter. The puppies will also be sold with Limited AKC registration.
